Full Job Description
Position Summary:
Under the direction of Lead Staff Supervisor with experience in the treatment of children.
Competencies:
Verbal and Written Communication, Ethical Conduct, Personal Effectiveness/Credibility, Problem Solving/Analysis, Thoroughness, Dependability, Cultural Diversity, Safety, Essential Duties and Confidentialities, Ensures all shift logs, duties and assignments as deemed by the Lead Staff Supervisor or Program Manager are completed by the end of shift. Able to complete notes on software specific On-Target system(training available), Ensures all regulations are adhered, but not limited to DHHS, DPS.

Responds to HIPAA matters.

Assures that all scope of practice is delivered

Assures that clinical supervision is provided to staff delivering the specific service

Ensures all monthly Safety Inspections are conducted.

Knows how to complete all necessary logs, i.e., sleep, communication, search, and seizure, etc.

Knows when to respond to any Crisis Intervention by properly utilizing the company’s approved crisis intervention technique(s).

Disseminate proper reports to social workers, guardians, or parents in a Child Family Meeting.
Reporting Responsibilities: Reports to the Lead Staff Supervisor
Skills/Physical/Working Conditions: Must possess efficient computer skills. Must complete all phases of the pre-service orientation and trainings, including physical restraint training. Must possess the ability to perform physical restraint techniques. Position may experience verbal and/or physical aggression from population. Must demonstrate availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, emergencies, and extended periods of time.
